Echoes of a walk

I began this piece during @antara.artist ’s Getting Loose class at @arton30th , where we were encouraged to paint five random but meaningful things from our lives. I later continued working on it in @shellys_artful_minds ‘ class.

What emerged was this dreamlike reflection: our walks with Benjamin, who always glances back to find my husband, and the two little rascals—Marcelo and Snoopie—who stay home but are never far from our thoughts.

The two figures in red both represent my husband—one looking back, one moving forward—symbolizing memory and direction, past and future. Sometimes, a reflection.
What started as a simple exercise became something deeply personal.
